Ernesto Canepa’s Anthological Exhibition. 50 years of ceramic art and design

Ernesto Canepa was born in Savona on 14/05/1944.
He obtained his diploma as an industrial expert at the ‘G.Ferraris’ Industrial Institute in Savona and his artistic high school diploma at the Liceo Artistico in Savona. He has been working as a ceramist and artist in Albisola for over fifty years, where he continues to apply and experiment with all possible materials and techniques.

Owner with Annamaria Pacetti of the Studio Ernan Design company, he produces artistic ceramics in accordance with the ancient techniques and traditions of Albisola, unique pieces and author’s multiples, as well as modern ceramics made in close collaboration with Italian and foreign artists and designers.

His works, large sculptures and important works for furnishing public spaces, can be found in permanent exhibitions and public and private collections.
