Sulle Rive del Lamone, un intreccio fra ceramica ed erbe palustri
Milano Makers, in collaboration with the Museo delle Erbe Palustri in Bagnacavallo and the ceramist Maria Elena Boschi. Artistic direction Maria Christina Hamel. Organisation Cesare Castelli. In this exhibition, the Lamone river, which for centuries was the backbone of the economy of this part of Romagna, will be the positive protagonist, linking the famous Faenza ceramics, in ancient times made with clay from the river, with the marsh grasses that grew along its banks and were masterfully woven by the inhabitants of Villanova di Bagnacavallo. Milano Makers asked 8 designers to interpret the theme by combining weaving and ceramics with design.
